Jess qualified from the University of Birmingham and completed her foundation year in Dorset where she won First Prize for the ‘Best Patient Case Presentation’. With an eye for attention to detail, she has a strong interest in aesthetic dentistry and in the same year, was awarded Second Prize in a national competition from the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Jess enjoys the variety that general dentistry offers and she regularly attends postgraduate courses with some of the best clinicians in the country to provide high standard, ethical care using the latest techniques and developments in dentistry. She also uses high quality digital photography to help communicate and plan the most appropriate care with her patients. Jess is an Invisalign Go provider; barely visible, clear aligners to straighten teeth. As well as a keen advocate in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry, she particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and helping them to get the best possible care they need with her gentle and friendly approach. She finds it so rewarding watching their confidence grow. As well as the clinical aspect of dentistry, Jess is passionate about research and education. She has worked with leading professionals in both the UK and USA in the field of Temporomandibular Disorder (jaw joint problems) and has presented both nationally and internationally on this subject. Jess is the founder and director of a study club in Oxford, where she regularly organises educational events and for local dentists to help, share and learn from each other. In her spare time, Jess is a keen pianist and enjoys acrylic painting. She also loves travelling and enjoys hearing about other people’s adventures and hobbies.
